Hayden Days Recap

Updated: Jul 27

Hayden Days is a highlight for me as it captures the "small-town feeling" of our city. From the singing of the National Anthem Friday afternoon by Allison Joy Williams to the final notes of the Rhythm Dawgs concert Saturday night, it was a wonderful time.

Friday night we enjoyed listening to the Kelly Hughes band and doing the "Chicken Dance". So much fun and good energy from a local favorite.

My favorite part was the parade Friday morning. I chose to ride along with the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee to kick off my campaign for re-election for Hayden City Council.

It takes a lot of work to put together such a well run event so many thanks to all of the Hayden staff and employees that played a part in making it so successful.
