This will be the first meeting of the new year and the beginning of my 4th year on the Council. It's hard to believe that 3 years have passed already. The consent calendar for this meeting is quite long with 21 items. The main part of the agenda is robust as well. We will be seeing the consent calendar ordinance once again. My hope and prayer is that ultimately the City of Hayden will adopt a consent calendar policy that allows any one council member the right to ask for any item to be moved for greater transparency without requiring a majority vote.

Some other items on the agenda are the Comprehensive Plan, a Bond for the Sewer, as well as possible Hayden merchandise kiosk in City Hall. All are welcome to attend. The meeting may run long so plan accordingly.
