Letters From Uncle Dave

This Memorial Day Weekend is going to be a very special one for my family. My brother, Dr. Phil Rosenkrantz, will be in the Coeur d'Alene/ Hayden area and will have a couple of opportunities to share about our uncle, S/Sgt David Rosenkrantz, who was MIA/ KIA when he was in in the US Army in Holland as a paratrooper during Operation Market Garden in World War II.

Phil was invited by the Veteran's Commission to speak at the City of Hayden's Memorial Day celebration at McIntire Park on Memorial Day, May 27 at 11AM. Phil has a lot of slides to share, so he will also be doing a multi-media presentation on Friday, May 24, 6:30 PM at Candlelight Christian Fellowship. There are a few other opportunities to hear Phil speak in the works as well.

Please come and hear the story of how our family was finally able to bring our Uncle Dave home to rest 73 years after his tragic death in battle. I believe that Uncle Dave's story portrays the true meaning of Memorial Day.
