January 10, 2023: Last night at the Hayden City Council Meeting I attempted to move an item of concern out of the consent calendar so it could be discussed and voted on separately, but I was unsuccessful.
A consent calendar is not intended to hide 40% pay raises. This should be open to discussion and comment which is not possible when it is part of a consent calendar.
The first 40 minutes of this meeting shows my attempt to dislodge a contract with our legal department from the consent calendar so that discussion could happen. Sandy
