The position of Precinct Committeeman (PC) shows up on your ballot once every two years, but many people don't understand what a PC does. A PC is an elected volunteer who represents the Republican voters in a neighborhood or precinct and serves as a link between local voters and the county Republican Party.
I am running for re-election as the Republican Precinct Committeeman for Precinct 318 in the May 19 election. It has been a privilege to serve the voters of our precinct, and I would be honored to continue representing our community on the county Republican Central Committee.
Precinct Committeemen vote on policies and resolutions at regular county party meetings. PCs also help recruit, vet, and recommend strong candidates for public office. Just as importantly, they help share election information and party updates directly with Republican voters in their neighborhood.
Grassroots participation is one of the strengths of our system of self-government. Serving as a Precinct Committeeman allows local citizens to have a direct voice in shaping the future of our community and our party.
I appreciate the opportunity to serve Precinct 318 and respectfully ask for your support in the May 19 election.
