Important Voter Information

With the November 4 election quickly approaching, I thought I'd share some information with you that should make things easier. Right now, I'm sharing with you the mechanics of voting. Later on, in another post, I will share with you some resources to help you gather information on candidates and issues on the ballot.

First of all, you need to register to vote. You can do that by going to VoteIdaho.gov. This website has a wealth of information to help guide you in the process of voting.

Second, if you want to vote by absentee ballot, then now is the time to request it if you haven't yet done so. That can also be done on VoteIdaho.gov.

There are three different ways to vote.

  • Absentee- Request your ballot starting now and they will start mailing them out Septeber 25. Absentee ballots can be mailed in or hand delivered to the elections office on 1808 N 3rd St in CdA.

  • Early- October 20-31 at the elections office during office hours at 1808 N 3rd St in CdA.

  • November 4- in person only at your precinct. You can find your precinct by going onto VoteIdaho.gov

Also, on Saturday, October 4, from 11 am-4 pm, Candlelight Christian Fellowship on the corner of Dalton Ave and Highway 95 will be having a Country Fair. I will be hosting a booth where you can register to vote, pick up voter information, and ask questions.

Remember: “The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter.” – Dwight D. Eisenhower
