Dear Friends and Neighbors in Precinct 318,

I’m happy to see my campaign sign in front of Dairy Queen. That place has special meaning for me because I worked at a DQ my dad owned when I was a teenager. I was so happy to be at our Hayden DQ opening day four years ago. I was their first indoor customer, made a cone that day, and could still make the curl on top. I still enjoy going there with my grandson, and I’m grateful to call Hayden home and enjoy that small town feel.

Four years ago I was also elected to be your Republican Precinct 318 Committeewoman. I have faithfully served our community on the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) and have worked tirelessly to represent conservative Republican values with integrity and consistency. I successfully ran the Presidential Caucus for 6 precincts in 2024 with the help of 50 volunteers. I've brought election information to doors and by mail.

This Tuesday, May 19, is an important election day, and I encourage everyone to vote if you have not already done so. Local elections matter, and voters should carefully consider which candidates best align with their values and the Republican Party Platform (IDGOP.org).

One issue that has come to the forefront in this election is the Right to Life. I remain unwavering in my belief that life begins at conception and I will stand along with the Republican Platform for the unborn. On the other hand, my opponent in the Precinct 318 committeeman race signed the petition to place abortion back on the ballot in the November election. She has been actively involved with the League of Women Voters and DART, groups that support abortion and other positions often associated with the Democratic Party. I encourage voters to look carefully at a candidate’s affiliations before choosing to vote.

It’s important that you use your vote wisely on May 19. Your polling place is Hayden Bible Church, 290 E. Miles Ave, Hayden, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you see me or my husband on the sidewalk out front please wave and say hi. I would be honored to earn your vote and continue to be your Precinct 318 Committeewoman.
Thank you for staying informed, participating in the election process, and making your voice heard.
Your Precinct 318 Committeewoman,
Sandy White
