Here is a link to a short educational film that a friend of mine produced many years ago about Colonel David "Davy" Crocket. I'm sharing this movie with you today because the story is so true even today. Crocket once learned a valuable lesson on "giving" money from public funds as "charity" by one of his constituents Horatio Buntz. This is just something to think about as different non-profits approach local city councils for money to help with low income housing. Be sure and watch the credits at the end!
