Prayer First

Today is a Sunday, so I thought that it would be good to ask for prayer.

During my first year as a member of the Hayden City Council, I've come to realize that I can only serve my community if I'm putting God first. I've learned so much and have been so blessed to be able to serve. But most of all, I've learned that I can't do it on my own.

I love these verses in I Timothy 2:1,2 "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

This Tuesday is a council meeting, so please pray for me as I read my packet and prepare.
